Lookauramax — Terms of Service

1. What you agree to

By using Lookauramax, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy at https://lookauramax.com/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Who can use the app

• You must be 16 or older.
• Ages 16–17 need a parent/guardian's consent before paid access and before a scan.
• You must join with Google or with an email magic link. There is no guest mode.
• One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

3. What the app does (and does not do)

• Lookauramax provides general wellness, grooming, skincare, posture, fitness, sleep, style, and photo guidance. It scores ONLY actionable traits (skin, hair, brows, beard if you opt in, smile, posture, photo quality).
• It does NOT rate attractiveness, score bone structure, diagnose or treat any condition, prescribe anything, recommend surgery, promise any result, or promise any weight change.
• For information only, not medical advice. Lookauramax does not diagnose or treat any condition. For skin, health, or mental-health concerns, consult a qualified professional.
• Spot-reduction is a myth. The app never claims face exercises, mewing, chewing, face yoga, or jaw exercisers give a jawline or burn face fat. Jawline visibility depends on overall body fat, genetics, and bone — which the app never scores or changes.
• Scan results are rule-based estimates, not AI. Coach guidance is rule-based. Preview is an enhancement-based illustration, labelled "illustration of potential, not a guarantee".

4. Your photo

• You may only scan your own face. Do not scan other people's faces without their consent.
• Your photo is processed on your device and wiped after scoring. It is never uploaded. Before/After photos are opt-in, on-device only, encrypted, and deletable.

5. Join Reward and Pro (Trial-Only)

There is no permanent Free plan, no Weekly plan, and no Lifetime plan. The only free thing is the one-time Join Reward: 1 scan + 1 retake if low-confidence + a 3-day routine + a Preview teaser + a Library teaser, no card required. After it is used, you need a paid plan (starting with a free trial) to continue.

Pro (paid via Google Play Billing): full plan, unlimited rescans, full Preview, Aura Coach, full library, Style Lab guidance, full progress with 30-day tracking, reminders, streaks, and badges.

The price shown in Google Play at purchase time is the price charged (Play shows the localised price, including taxes where Play includes them). Save-% claims in the app and listing are floored per market and always state what they are compared against (e.g. "Save 33% vs monthly").

• Trials: every plan starts with a free trial (7 days on Monthly / 3-Month / 6-Month; 14 days on Yearly). One trial per account and one per device per 90 days. If you have already used a trial, the paywall offers paid purchase instead (no second trial). Google Play collects a payment method at trial start. You will NOT be charged during the free trial. A reminder is sent 2 days before the trial ends. If you do not cancel, Play charges automatically on the date shown at purchase.
• Cancel: cancel in Google Play > Subscriptions (reached from Settings > Subscription, which shows the cancel path). You keep Pro until the end of the paid period, then drop to no active plan. Your data stays.
• Restore Purchases (Settings) restores Pro without double-charging.
• Refunds: first 48 hours via Google Play; after that, contact support within 72 hours for review (see Refund Policy).
• Deleting your account does NOT cancel your Play subscription.

6. Acceptable use

Do not: misuse the app, attempt to bypass age gating / trials / payments, reverse-engineer billing, upload others' faces, harass others, or use the app to provide medical advice to others. We may suspend accounts that abuse trials, referrals, refunds, or coupons, with a reason given and a support contact.

7. Rule-based content

Aura Coach answers are rule-based, on-device, and labelled. Aura Preview is an enhancement-based illustration, labelled "illustration of potential, not a guarantee", and never changes bone structure, skin tone, or body shape. Nothing in the app uses AI or machine learning. Verify important advice with a qualified professional.

8. Liability (best-effort, plain language)

The app is provided "as is", without guarantees of any result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot be limited.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the app changes. Material changes are announced in-app. Contact: support@lookauramax.com.
